Flexible in-home and virtual support

About Wine Country Lactation

Compassionate care for the moments that matter most.

Becoming a parent is extraordinary. It can also be overwhelming.

Feeding a baby comes with questions, uncertainty, and sometimes challenges that nobody prepared you for.

Wine Country Lactation was created to provide families with professional, compassionate and individualized lactation support during this important season of life.

Clinical Lactation Expertise

As a Registered Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant with advanced lactation educator training, I bring hospital-level knowledge into a calm, private setting. You benefit from careful assessment, clear explanations, and evidence-informed guidance that address both your baby's feeding needs and your own physical recovery.

Boutique, One-to-One Support

I keep visits intentionally unhurried so we can listen, observe, and practice together. Whether we meet in your home or virtually, we work with your actual pillows, chairs, and pump. You leave with a realistic plan that fits your routines, not a generic list that feels impossible to follow.

Inclusive, Compassionate Feeding Care

Your feeding goals guide every recommendation. I support breastfeeding, pumping, combination feeding, and formula use without judgment. We talk honestly about what is working and what is not, then create next steps that protect your baby's growth and your mental health so you can feel confident and supported.

Meet Your Lactation Consultant

Mandy Wallace, RN IBCLC

For over a decade, I have been passionate about supporting mothers, babies and families through their breastfeeding and infant feeding journeys. I have a Child & Family studies degree along with a bachelors degree in Nursing & Education. I am a Registered Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), I believe every family deserves compassionate, individualized support, evidence-based education, and the confidence to make the best decisions for themselves and their babies.

My passion for lactation goes beyond helping babies latch or establishing milk supply. It is about listening without judgement, meeting families where they are, celebrating their successes, and providing reassurance during the moments that feel overwhelming, I understand that every feeding journey is unique, and my goal is to help each family feel heard, supported and empowered.

Whether you are preparing to welcome your baby, navigating the early days of breastfeeding, working through feeding challenges, or simply looking for reassurance, I am here to walk alongside you.

I believe that when parents feel supported, families thrive. It is an honor to be part of such a meaningful chapter in a families life, and I am committed to providing personalized, compassionate lactation care that helps parents build confidence and babies get the best possible start.
