Postpartum Feeding Support

Postpartum feeding support is for the moment you realize that feeding a real baby feels very different from what you read in a book. Whether you are days or weeks after birth, I come alongside you to gently untangle latch pain, long or frantic feeds, weight-gain worries, or confusing advice from multiple sources.

In our visit, I observe a full feeding, assess both you and your baby, and check for tongue/lip restrictions, positioning issues, or supply concerns. Then we create a clear, written plan that fits your actual life-pillows, couch, pump, partner and all.

You gain step-by-step guidance for breastfeeding, pumping, bottle use, or combination feeding, with concrete next steps rather than "wait and see." As an RN and IBCLC, I can coordinate with your pediatric or obstetric team when needed. After the visit, you are not left on your own; brief follow-up support helps you fine-tune the plan as your baby (and your confidence) grows.
