Return-to-Work Feeding Plan
A return-to-work feeding plan bridges the gap between your current feeding rhythm and the realities of your job schedule. Together, we look at your work hours, commute, pumping spaces, and job demands, as well as your feeding goals and your baby's current pattern.
We outline when and how often to pump at work, how to time feeds at home, and how much milk to leave for caregivers. I help you estimate realistic bottle volumes, set up a freezer stash (or skip it, if that is more manageable), and plan for days when pumping does not go perfectly.
You gain scripts for discussing pumping breaks with your employer, ideas for transport and storage, and strategies to maintain supply while protecting your mental health. This visit may also include paced bottle-feeding teaching or a pump flange fit check. You walk away with a written plan that makes the transition feel doable, instead of a knot of dread in your stomach.
